Its extremely low weight , combined with maximum
load capacity is achieved by a special manufacturing process:
the rotary forging .
The bowl of the wheel is shaped with very high pressure,
while the forged body itself
rotates at very high speed .
This procedure compresses the material structure of the
aluminum used and thereby increases its strength.
The result is a rim that, with the same load capacity,
requires significantly less mass than a conventionally cast wheel.
The position of the mass saved also plays an
important role. In this way, the weight saving
benefits the outer side of the wheel, which enables very little unbalance.
Thanks to these special properties, the CARGRAPHIC
performance17 bike not only impresses with its dynamic appearance, but
also has a noticeably
positive effect on the handling properties of the vehicle .
The CARGRAPHIC performance17 wheel is available from 18 “to 22” in almost
all relevant bolt circles (from 5/108 to 5/130).
