Road / Race Technician

Parr have the unique opportunity to offer an individual a role that will support both our workshop and race team. With a long history of being the leading Porsche Specialist, Parr are looking for someone to join our team who will help continue the level of dedication, attention to detail and passion that has got us to where we are today.

The candidate should be self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team. The work will be varied and interesting from routine servicing to full shell rebuilds/ restoration. Experience in Porsche will be beneficial but not essential. Motorsport experience in some capacity is essential.

The role will involve-

• Working on road/race cars in the workshop, supporting our race team on test and race weekends as required plus any other workshop tasks as required.
• To perform all work assigned in a timely manner, economically and to Company and Manufacturer standards.
• To advise the Service Controller if additional work is required on a vehicle and seek their assistance and authority in the rectification of faults.
• To maintain a high level of competence for the work to be undertaken by undergoing on-site training, attending courses at suppliers/ manufacturer and reading technical bulletins as required.
• To ensure the Company image of professionalism and quality of service is maintained when dealing with customers
• To operate equipment and carry out all duties in a safe manner.
• To maintain equipment, protective clothing, and work areas in a clean, tidy and safe condition.
• To assist management with the introduction of new methods of work designed to improve efficiency.

You will need a Full UK driving licence and a relevant level 3 qualification or equivalent .
