THE JOURNEY

Parr were approached by a customer who had just purchased this Porsche. He was so impressed by the balance and handling of the car, but felt it lacked the power the superb chassis deserved. He wanted us to up the power significantly and the simplest/most cost effective way to do this was to turbocharge the engine. As the Spyder is used on track we also carried out the following work to increase the performance and durability:

• Low pressure turbocharger kit and associated modifications increasing power by over 100 Bhp
• Custom ECU map
• PDK gearbox cooler
• Bigger brake conversion comprising of larger discs and calipers
• Upgraded brake hoses/fluid
• Upgraded master cylinder
• Lightweight wheel set
• Parr geometry set up
