THE JOURNEY

THIS PROJECT WAS ALWAYS GOING TO BE A CHALLENGE WHEN THE CLIENT AND CAR WERE BASED IN SINGAPORE. THE CLIENT DECIDED THE ONLY COURSE OF ACTION WAS TO SHIP THE CAR TO PARR TO CARRY OUT THE WORK HE WANTED. WHEN PARR RECEIVED THE CAR IT HAD ALREADY UNDERGONE SOME BODYWORK MODIFICATION IN SINGAPORE BUT TO A VERY POOR STANDARD.  THE CLIENTS BRIEF WAS FOR A MINIMALIST LOOK BACKDATED WIDEBODY 911. THE CAR IS USED AS A DAILY DRIVER IN SINGAPORE SO IT WAS IMPORTANT THAT IT WAS USABLE IN EVERYDAY TRAFFIC AND CREATURE COMFORTS SUCH AS AIR CONDITIONING WERE INCLUDED. AFTER INITIAL INSPECTION THE SHELL HAD CORROSION ISSUES AND REQUIRED RECTIFICATION WORK TO BRING UP TO STANDARD. AFTER HUNDREDS OF MAN HOURS AS YOU CAN SEE THE END RESULT WAS STUNNING.

Work completed:

• Shell modifications/Preparation
• While the engine was sound it required removal and cosmetic improvement
• Removal of semi automatic gearbox and replacement with 5 speed manual
• Custom made air conditioning system
• Complete gearbox build and restore using original case and internals
• New wiring harness
• Custom manufactured interior
• All chassis components renovated or replaced
• Chrome detailing added
• Custom audio system fitted
• Wheels rebuilt and refurbished to customer specification
