“I’m quite surprised by third place. I’m getting quicker, I’m learning a lot more about the car which is really what I needed to do. Hopefully for the next long race I’ll be a bit more comfortable, it’s a bit of a slog the first time but I’m fit enough to do that so we’ll see. I’ve had a great time and it’s a good bunch of drivers here which sometimes you don’t always find at a race meeting. There’s a good selection of cars – there’s some really quick stuff here and some new stuff too; new technology mixed with some old so it’s great. The GTO class is really quick and they really come up behind you quickly but they know what you’regoing to do so just let them get on with it.”
Josh Webster – Driver coach
“Andrew did a fantastic race this afternoon. After yesterday, we knew what we had to work on today. We knew he just had to finish the race and he got on the track and we came away with a podium. He actually did his fastest lap of the weekend and his best time ever in that race so it shows that he’s learning all the time so we’re all really happy with it.”
Paul Robe – Team Principal
“We’re really pleased actually. We were fortunate with the weather because we were a bit worried about the rain but we qualified much better than we did on Saturday and Andrew really did a good job to do that. During the race he performed extremely well, he was the fastest he’s ever been before. He’s learned a heck of a lot and we’ve had a great time this weekend. We got the podium with a little bit of luck but motorsport needs a bit of luck so we really are pleased.”
